A total of fifty seven (57) hopefuls vied for the audition of the Gensan Pop Idol that was held at the Gaisano Atrium today.
The competition was really stiff. Because of this, twenty two (22) of those who auditioned successfully earned the nod of the Board of Judges instead of only the top 15. They are the following, in no particular order:

Prior to the semifinal round, there will be a meeting and drawing of performance numbers on Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at 2:00pm. It will be held at the ABC Building (beside the City tennis Court), City Hall Complex, General Santos City. Attendance is a must. Failure to attend the meeting means exclusion from the semifinal round. Bring also your CD minus one or karaoke so that we can burn ahead your contest pieces.
The semifinal round will be held at the Gaisano Atrium on August 21, 2011 at 3:00pm.
